[Preface] Since its inception in 1989, the China International Machine Tool Exhibition (CIMT) has undergone a development journey of 34 years. CIMT has consistently adhered to the path of internationalization and specialization, focusing on showcasing the world’s most advanced manufacturing technologies and equipment. It has received strong support from machine tool associations, trade promotion agencies, and machine tool and tool enterprises both at home and abroad, as well as from a wide range of user enterprises. Having successfully hosted 17 editions, CIMT has played a significant role in promoting and supporting innovation and upgrading in the equipment manufacturing industry, in tandem with China’s reform and opening-up. As one of the four major international machine tool exhibitions in the world, CIMT is not only a grand gathering for displaying advanced manufacturing technologies and machine tool products and an important platform for promoting technical exchange and commercial cooperation between China and other countries.
