This DRO kit is special for 2 axes lathe machine positioning requirement.

 

The RS232-C output LED DRO SDS6-2VF should be mounted on the lathe's slide truck. 

 

The KA-300 ruler should be for axis Z, and KA-500 ruler should be for axis X.
