The DRO kit is special for 3 axes lathe positioning.

 

The plastic LED DRO SDS2-3MS should be mounting on the lathe's sliding box. 

 

The KA-600 digital scale should be for axis Z, and KA-300 or KA-500 digital scale should be for axis X and Z1.
