The NC600 absolute linear encoder utilizes an absolute position encoding system, which delivers instantaneous position feedback upon power activation, eliminating the requirement for axis movement or reference homing procedures.
This encoder is primarily employed in linear motors, CNC machine tools, automated production lines, scientific instruments, and high-precision control systems.
Developed in-house, this series incorporates a sealed structural design with an aluminum housing and double-layer sealing mechanisms, effectively protecting both the encoder and the reading head from dust, contaminants, and cutting fluids.

  • One KA600‑2100mm linear glass scale.Available resolutions: 0.5, 1, and 5 μm.Custom lengths (L0) from 1000 mm to 3000 mm are available upon request.
  • The encoder is equipped with multiple optical sensors around the coded disc. As the disc rotates, these sensors detect optical patterns and convert them into electrical signals.
  • Code Patterns
  • Optical patterns vary by encoding method. Common types include natural binary code and Gray code. Gray code is widely used because only one bit changes between adjacent positions, reducing transition errors.
  • The resolution of an absolute optical rotary encoder depends on the number of codes on the disc. Higher‑resolution models provide more codes and better angular accuracy. Resolution is usually expressed in bits or counts per revolution (CPR).
  • The NC600 encoder is specially designed for large machine tools, featuring a long structure and high rigidity. Supports can be added at any position to improve stability.Length range: 1000–3000 mm.
