SINO Digital Readout System DRO Linear Scales

SINO digital readout (DRO) is LCD display (incremental signal) usually with an integrated keyboard and some means of numeric representation. The optical principle that works through the moiré fringes on the grating generates pulse signals, which the digital display meter converts into digital displays. Its integral computer reads signals generated by optical linear glass scale or angle (rotary )encoders installed to track machine axes, using these measures to keep track of and display to a machine operator the workpiece position (e.g., milling machines), or tool position (lathes, grinders, etc) in space.
