The NC600 absolute linear encoder utilizes an absolute position encoding system, providing an immediate position value upon power-up without needing a moving axis as a reference.
It is primarily used in linear motors, CNC machine tools, automated production lines, scientific instruments, and high-precision control systems.
Our independently developed series features a closed structure with an aluminum shell and double-layer sealing strips, effectively protecting the encoder glass and reading head from dust, debris, and cutting fluid.

The encoder has several optical sensors or detectors positioned all around the disk or ring. These sensors detect the optical markers as the disc rotates and convert them into electrical impulses.
Code Patterns: The optical markings on the encoder disc might take on various shapes based on the encoding technique used. Binary codes that are frequently utilized are natural binary codes and gray codes. Gray codes are widely used because they reduce the likelihood of errors at these transitional sites by ensuring that only one bit changes between adjacent regions.
The quantity of marks or codes on the disk determines the resolution of an absolute optical angle encoder. More markings and greater angular resolution are provided by encoders with higher resolution. In most cases, the resolution is expressed in bits or counts per revolution (CPR).
NC600 encoder, which is specifically designed for large machine tool, features in
large size and good rigidity. Support may be added to any position of the encoder to
enhance the rigidity and stability. The length is 1000~3000mm.
